Hi,
I'M
Adit Jindal!
Aspiring Computer Scientist & entrepreneur, Volunteer, and Musician

I'm currently a junior at the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the world's leading research institute. I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Economics.
What has always set me apart from others is my ability to identify problems and find feasible solutions to them. From developing mobile applications that could change how college students learn about their college to starting social campaigns on issues like obesity, I have never backed down from trying to help people.
Due to my competitive and hardworking nature, challenges excite me! Minoring in an unrelated field, studying in a foreign country, mastering multiple musical instruments are few of the things that attest to my ambitious personality.

02 PROJECTS
UNIMATE
2020-Present
FOUNDER
UniMate is a mobile application that helps in easy class registration and networking. It solved the problem of finding information on various classes by consolidating data from websites like Rate My Professor and Course Critique.
Further, it has a database of Georgia Tech students with information like hometown, activities involved in, etc. Other students who want information about college in general or some specific clubs can ask to talk to them for a small fee. This helps in reducing anxiety among incoming freshmen by connecting to experienced upperclassmen. This will also boost participation in on-campus clubs
PROVISIONS
2020-Present
CO-FOUNDER
Provisions is a startup for increasing accessibility of dining information to people on restrictive diets
My team and I conducted heavy market research for three months which involved interviewing people and going to 40+ restaurants. We utilized R and Python to analyze over 40 restaurant menus to get key insights on our market.
We are currently developing a mobile application that would solve the problem of finding suitable restaurants based on your dietary restrictions in your vicinity.
EAT HEALTHY, BE FABULOUS
2015-2019
CO-FOUNDER
Eat Healthy, be Fabulous was a campaign about researching and raising awareness of the incidence of childhood obesity in schools of Chandigarh, India.
I targeted groups aged 6-9 and 12-15. With help from a local computing institute, I also designed a kid-friendly mobile app for data collection. I managed to get access to one government school, where we surveyed over 200 students for vitals and behaviors.
Interestingly, I found that 12% of students in our younger group were obese and 16% were overweight, compared to none in our older group even overweight. I conjectured that the lack of education, deficiencies in the school curriculum, and the fact that older students tend to be more health-conscious produced this result.
In light of my theory, I conducted various seminars in the government school as well as my own to teach students about the importance of health. I was successful in changing our school’s canteen menu to eliminate unhealthy foods like Oreo shakes and introduce healthier options such as omelets.
EASY CALCULATOR
2016-Present
FOUNDER
Easy Calculator is an Android app that convert local units of measurement to global units easily.
In India there are various units of local land measurement (like “bigha and marla” ) in use, and often people get confused among them. I started learning more about these units by visiting local farms and villages. Interestingly, I found out that the same units had different meanings in different places. This information was not available on the Internet. I then decided to make a mobile app called - ‘Easy Calculator’ which could interconvert these units. Using a ruler, I used to make a standard one-square-meter area wherever I went. Then by interacting with people, I noted the area in their units and wrote the conversions. Once, the app was complete, I published it on the Google Play Store.
